Kristina’s Yummy Banana Bread!

Kristina’s Yummy Banana Bread!

Today as part of Kristina’s ongoing Making Mondays Magical Baking Campaign, she made banana bread! Below is the recipe if you want to try it yourself, it’s always a winner and easy to do. The most important part is the base of cinnamon and sugar at the bottom of the bread pan!

1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup better
6 over ripe bananas mashed
16 ounces sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking soda
4 and 1/2 cups flour
1/2 bag of chocolate mini chips (semi sweet)

Mix 1/4 cup sugar and teaspoon of cinnamon. Grease four bread pans and then evenly distribute the cinnamon and sugar mix along the bottoms of each pan.

In a large bowl cream butter and the other 3 cups of sugar together. then add eggs, one at a time. Then add mashed banana, vanilla, and sour cream. Then mix in salt baking soda and flour. You can then evenly distribute batter into the four pans, with enough for about four muffins left over typically. Or do what I do and pour half batter into two pans for plain banana bread and then add mini chips into the remaining half of the batter and then pour into the final two loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes at 300
