The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12 and four players in the big game have ties to Hampton Roads.
Derrick Nnadi, a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs went to high school at Ocean Lakes in Virginia Beach.
Following the Chiefs’ 2020 win Nnadi celebrated by paying for all the adoption fees for dogs available at KC Pet Project.
Josh Sweat, a defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles went to Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake.
Zach Pascal, a wide receiver for the Eagles, is the all-time leading receiver for Old Dominion University.
and Rick Lovato, a long snapper for the Eagles played at ODU from 2011 to 2014, and according to WAVY-TV 10, worked at his family’s sub shop after going undrafted.
