Katy Perry Announces “Lifetimes” Tour Promising Hits, Dance Parties, and a Reminder to Stay Hydrated

With Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour wrapped up, pop fans have another major event to look forward to: Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour. The pop superstar announced her first tour in seven years, featuring career-spanning hits alongside tracks from her latest album 143, which was released in September.

The Lifetimes Tour kicks off on April 16 in Austin, Texas, and Perry will perform closest to Hampton Roads in Baltimore on August 15 and Raleigh on August 17.

In an interview with USA Today, Perry shared her excitement for the tour, saying, “Lifetimes is going to incorporate the journey that I’ve been on for over 17 years and celebrate it.” She added, “I feel a total responsibility to my audience to give them that sing-along feeling, but I will be introducing them to a few new ones, which I’m really excited about.”

Fans can expect to hear Perry’s biggest hits, including California Gurls, Dark Horse, Firework, and Roar. Perry also teased that the tour will be “a real fun dance party” and reminded fans to keep safety in mind: “Please wear sensible shoes and stay hydrated.”
