117 Days and Counting – Kitana Is Still Waiting for a Loving Home

I had the opportunity to meet Kitana at Chesapeake Animal Services this week.

She is their longest resident and has been waiting for a loving home for 117 days. Kitana was surrendered by her family, who could no longer care for her, and she is understandably a little scared in her new environment. She hides when people walk by, but if given time, she is so sweet and snuggly. After only a minute, she came out to let me pet her and run up against my hand to ask for more. She is 5 years old and still has so much love to give.
