The club’s appeal came after years of trying to track down the baby blue jersey, which became a memorable part of its history. In its recent push, Celta treated the shirt as a piece of the club’s story and used public messages to bring attention to the search.
The jersey goes back to Madonna’s Blond Ambition tour stop in Vigo on July 29, 1990, when she performed wearing Celta colors. Her response confirmed the shirt still exists, though she did not say whether it will ever make its way back to the club. For now, the mystery appears solved: the jersey has been found, even if it remains with Madonna.
