A familiar pop hit has been transformed into a cookie-themed sing-along as Sesame Street introduced its latest musical parody. The new video features Cookie Monster performing Take a Bite, a playful remake inspired by Bruno Mars’ I Just Might, as part of the upcoming album Parody Party.
The release arrives ahead of the album’s debut later this summer and gives fans a preview of the project’s lighthearted approach. The video mirrors the style of the original song while replacing the lyrics with Cookie Monster’s well-known love of cookies, creating a family-friendly version aimed at younger audiences.
Parody Party will include seven songs performed by Sesame Street characters, each drawing inspiration from popular music. The collection features spoofs of tracks associated with artists including Chappell Roan and RAYE, along with songs inspired by the soundtrack from KPop Demon Hunters. It also brings together several previously released parodies that have become favorites among viewers.
The album is set to arrive on July 26 through Warner Music’s Arts Music label, continuing Sesame Street’s long tradition of introducing children to music through humor and creative performances.
