This week’s Shelter Pet Saturday spotlight is shining on Rosa and Igor, a bonded duo looking for their next chapter through Bully Advocate and Rescue Collective (BARC) — and trust us, you’re going to fall in love.
First up is Rosa, a 6-year-old Staffy/pot-belly-pig mix (kidding… sort of 😉). She originally came to BARC back in 2019, but after her family fell on hard times, she returned through no fault of her own. Through it all, she’s stayed the same sweet, steady girl she’s always been.
Her best friend — and soulmate in squishy-faced silliness — is Igor, an 8-year-old Frenchie with a big personality packed into a tiny body. He’s all about chew toys, zoomies, and making you laugh with his endless energy. Check out this video of Stephanie trying to pose for a photo with this hilarious pair for a little preview!
Together? They’re perfection.
💛 Fantastic with other dogs
🐱 Cat-friendly
🏡 Fully house-trained and crate-trained
🌟 Easy, loving, low-maintenance companions
Rosa and Igor are a package deal. Rosa’s calm presence balances Igor’s goofy enthusiasm, and Igor brings out Rosa’s silly side. They simply belong together.
If your home is missing warmth, wiggles, and a whole lot of love, this pair is ready to fill that space.
Rosa and Igor are now available for adoption through Bully Advocate and Rescue Collective.
