Meet Harper, a shy but incredibly sweet 2-year-old cat currently waiting for a loving home at Chesapeake Animal Services.
Harper came to the shelter as a stray, and while shelter life has been a little overwhelming for him, staff have discovered a gentle and affectionate cat underneath his timid exterior. Once he feels safe, Harper loves to receive scratches under his chin and quickly starts making biscuits to show his appreciation.
Harper is FIV-positive, but with regular vet visits and an indoor-only home to keep him safe from illness, Harper can live a long and happy life.
Thanks to a generous guardian angel, Harper’s adoption fee has already been sponsored, making it even easier to give this deserving boy a fresh start.
Harper may not be the loudest or boldest cat in the room, but sometimes the quietest animals have the most love to give. He’s just waiting for someone willing to give him a chance.
