The Reunite Tonight Project is helping reunite lost pets with their families! This new local non-profit just launched in December and already has two scanning locations in Coastal Virginia, with more to come.
The founder of Reunite Tonight, Megan Baker, joins Stephanie Taylor to talk about how you can use these scanning locations to reunite lost pets with their families after hours and check to make sure your pet’s info is up to date.
The Reunite Tonight Project is also helping more families register their pets for microchips with their education workshop.
These classes are designed to help pet owners better understand:
• How microchips work
• What to do if your pet goes missing
• What to do if you find a lost pet
• How microchips help reunite pets with their families faster
AND upon completion, your pet will receive a FREE microchip implant paid for by The Reunite Tonight Project through a partnership with Chesapeake Humane Society!
Please note:• Pets 4 months and older must have a valid rabies certificate OR receive a rabies vaccine at their implant appointment• The project does not currently cover rabies vaccine costs.
