Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams is stepping away from her talk show due to health concerns, according to Variety.
Diagnosed with Graves Disease back in 2018, the 55-year-old has reportedly been feeling fatigue related to the chronic illness. Before new symptoms arose, she had been hosting her show from home in New York City.
Production of The Wendy Williams Show has been suspended for now, with reruns taking it’s place.
A show spokesperson spoke to Variety and said, “Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue. In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment.”
The spokesperson added, “We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the ‘Wendy@Home’ show. “
