Vanessa Bryant “Devastated” Over L.A. Deputies Sharing Crash Photos
Vanessa Bryant and her legal team is speaking out after allegations that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies shared photos of the January 26th crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, 13-year-old Gianna Bryant, and seven others.
Her Lawyer, Gary C. Robb, released a statement on March 1st:
“Our client, Vanessa Bryant, is absolutely devastated by allegations that deputies from the Lost Hills Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department publicly disseminated photos from the helicopter crash site.”
Cobb also shared that Vanessa Bryant went to the Sheriff’s office and requested that the site was to “be designated a no-fly zone and protected from photographers.”
The statement concluded with Cobb stating,”Mrs. Bryant is grateful to the individual who filed an online complaint exposing these acts of injustice, and for the choice to protect human dignity.”
Vanessa also shared the statement on her Instagram page as well.
According to the L.A. Times, the L.A. County sheriff’s deputies shared graphic photos of the helicopter crash and victims and the sharing of these photos were a topic of discussion among first responders two days after the Jan. 26 crash.
