American Idol Suspends Production To Ensure Contestants Get Home

American Idol has suspended filming amid the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic, according to People.

The ABC reality-competition is placing extra per cautions and throughout its production amid the coronavirus health crisis, suspending filming and allowing employees to work from home. Staffers are also ensuring that the contestants get back home to their families during the health crisis.

Sources tell People that Katy Perry, one of the American Idol judges, “seems more cautious since she is pregnant” with the quick and swift spread of COVID-19. Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, announced that she was expecting two weeks ago.
