Saturday Night Live is coming back to NBC, in a sense. The late-night sketch comedy show will be airing a special remote episode this Saturday at 11:30pm EST.
The episode will be the first since suspending production on the series amid the coronavirus outbreak. The episode will also have newly produced material remotely while social distancing.
The episode is considered a one-off show and it’s unclear whether the show will continue the season in this manner. The show was set to come back from its mid season hiatus with host John Krasinski and musical guest Dua Lipa on March 28th.
This news comes as many late night and daytime talk shows are returning in a remote fashion, having guests video call and filming material from home.
