Kanye West Donates More Than a Quarter Million Chick-Fil-A Meals To The Needy

Kanye West’s love for Chick-Fil-A runs deep, so much so he’s written a song about the fast food chain, Closed On Sundays. So it comes as no surprise that the rapper has decided to team up with them to donate a quarter million meals to L.A.’s vulnerable populations.

The partnership has been going on for some time, since late March, and the partnership has resulted in the donation of over 11,000 meals. He’s also donated a huge amount of money to the Christian charity organization, Los Angeles Dream Center.

The organization’s founder, Matthew Barnet, says that because of the donation, they’ve been able to ramp up charity work. “The Los Angeles Dream Center has transformed into the Grand Central Station of food distribution and other basic essentials. I’m so grateful that our team has stayed healthy, and that we’ve found a safe way to meet the urgent needs within our community. I can’t say thank you enough to the various donors who’ve made this a reality. This is what a neighborhood, a community, and a church should always look like.”
