Beyoncé is giving back big during the coronavirus pandemic. She’s donated $6 million through her BeyGOOD initiative.

The donation is to help those disproportionately affected by the coronavirus, namely frontline workers that may be in need even after the pandemic has passed.

Her BeyGOOD initiative has also partnered with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s #StartSmall to raise money for mental health services in line with UCLA.

The charitable donations continue, with the Grammy winner partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)to support efforts in the cities Houston, New York, New Orleans and Detroit. Personal wellness support will support and aid United Memorial Medical Center, Bread of Life, Matthew 25 among other organizations.

A rep for Beyoncé said in a statement, “Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD recognizes the immense mental and personal health burdens being placed on essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. In our major cities, African-Americans comprise a disproportionate number of workers in these indispensable occupations, and they will need mental health support and personal wellness care, including testing and medical services, food supplies and food deliveries, both during and after the crisis.”
