Tiger King Filmmakers To Develop New Project About Siegfried and Roy Show

The filmmakers that bought Tiger King to Netflix are now developing a new project about the Las Vegas duo Siegfried and Roy.

Confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, news of this new installation comes after Roy Horn passed away on Friday due to complications from the coronavirus.

This new project will focus on the 2003 mauling incident when Roy Horn was attacked by one of the white tigers on stage.

Horn survived the mauling, however it left him partially paralyzed and resulted in significant blood loss and a stroke. He underwent extensive treatment and rehabilitation, leaving him unable to walk or talk until 2006.

The incident effectively ended the live show that debuted at the Mirage Resort and Casino in 1990.

The Hollywood Reporter says that this project will be a “follow-up” episode under the Tiger King name. It is unknown if Horn or Fischbacher are involved with this new project.
