Matt Damon Says Self-Isolating In Ireland Is ‘Like a Fairy Tale’

Matt Damon is having some Irish luck with his quarantine.

The 49-year-old actor appeared on Spin 1083’s Fully Charged with Graham & Nathan radio show to discuss his quarantine experience in Dalkey, Ireland along with his family. The actor was shooting The Last Duel film on location as lockdown orders began.

When describing the Dublin suburb he said “It’s incredible. It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. We’ve got this incredible setup in this place, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.”

He’s been quarantined in Dublin with his wife Luciana and their three children.

Damon joked that with all of the nature around, there’s plenty of room to social distance, “There’s trees and forests and woods and ocean — I can’t think of a place you’d rather want to be within a 2-kilometer radius of.”

He also says that, “It’s ridiculous. It feels a little like a fairy tale here.”
