Rod Stewart Planning A Biopic After Seeing Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman Success

After seeing his colleagues Elton John and Queen create successful biopics, Rod Stewart is throwing his hat in the fire and creating his own.

A source told The Daily Mail that the rocker’s camp is pushing ahead with a biopic about his life.

The source said, “Rod is delighted. His management company is already drawing up plans and has spoken to at least one scriptwriter. His management company will organize everything, including the script and the casting, then they’ll find a film company to take it on.“

The film is said to focus on his womanizing party boy, much like Elton John’s movie focused on his sexuality.

The source says, “His love life alone is enough for a three-hour epic. Rod’s always had a gorgeous girl on his arm and went through the whole 1970s party scene so there are plenty of wild tales to tell.“

The source continues, “He’s survived a world which destroys so many and is still around today and is as popular as ever He’s survived a world which destroys so many and is still around today and is as popular as ever.”

Stewart has fathered eight kids and has been married three times, with his latest marriage lasting 13 years.
