The Ferguson North American Sand Soccer Championships has been canceled for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The organizers listed rising COVID-19 numbers, requirements to be safe and sanitized and “logistical challenges,” as some reasons why the decision was made to cancel.

For people who previously registered:

• Team registration fees – will be 100% refunded. We have to do each refund manually, so please be patient with us as this may take up to 2 weeks to process every individual team refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method received (credit card/check).
• Hotel Reservations – your hotel reservation will automatically be cancelled on Friday, July 10. If you wish to keep your hotel reservation and make a family vacation to Virginia Beach. Please click this link for more information about the hotel cancellation plan and/or to lock in the discounted oceanfront rates for what would have been our sand soccer weekend.
• 2021 NASSC – our hotel system is live and ready to take your reservations for 2021 NASSC slated for June 11-13, 2021. Please click here to book your 2021 NASSC hotel room. Our Stay-to-Play policy will be in effect for 2021.
