Hot Weather Advisory: Dogs in Danger From Excessive Heat

Hot weather can be deadly for dogs, who don’t sweat and can only cool off by panting.

It only takes a few minutes of sun exposure for a dog to suffer and even die from heatstroke.

Several dogs have already died from heat-related causes this year, and the weather shows no sign of cooling off.

Make sure your dog stays indoors, where it’s nice and cool, and has plenty of fresh water to drink.
