“The Price Is Right” Is Returning Without an Audience For the First Time.

“The Price Is Right” is heading back into production for the first time since the initial COVID-19 lockdown . . . and there will be some changes.  For starters, there WON’T be an audience for the first time ever.

For the first time in 45 years you won’t see an audience full of people as the announcer calls “Come on down!”  Instead, the contestants will know in advance they are appearing on the show.

Unlike other shows, The Price Is Right can’t do virtual audiences because there’s no way they could’ve ensured that audience members weren’t looking up the prices online.

The good news, all 77 games back will be back and contestants will be able to play while maintaining social distancing.
