Kelly Clarkson Kicks Off 2020 Billboard Music Awards with Whitney Houston Cover {WATCH}

Kelly Clarkson returned as host of the 2020 Billboard Music Awards Wednesday, Oct. 14th, and kicked off the show with a stunning performance of “Higher Love,” a Steve Winwood Song that Whitney Houston covered.

Clarkson was joined by Pentatonix and the legendary Sheila E. WATCH:

Post Malone took home a total of nine awards on the show, including Top Artist and Top Male Artist.

Other big winners included Khalid, with five; Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus with four, for their hit “Old Town Road,” and Billie Eilish, who scored three awards, including Top New Artist.
