Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker shared a sweet suggestion from a concerned trick-or-treater on how to make Halloween safer this year. We should all hand out king-sized candy bars!
The little boy reasoned that this means kids will only take one piece of candy instead of touching two or three smaller pieces of candy — therefore reducing the chance of spreading COVID-19.
The Governor shared the note saying, “As you may have heard at today’s press conference, I received a great suggestion from a young trick-or-treater as we approach 2020’s Halloween in the Commonwealth: king-sized candy bars.”
No word only whether residents will jump on board but you gotta hand it to the kid for trying!
