Tributes Pour In For “Jeopardy” Host Alex Trebek as the Show Announces His Final Episode.

As the news hit that “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek passed away at age 80 from pancreatic cancer, tributes from former contestants, fans, and the entertainment world poured in.

 

Fans also shared some of the host’s best moments

Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak commented on the tremendous loss.

According to a press release, “Jeopardy!” episodes hosted by Trebek will air through Dec. 25, 2020. The release also shared that his last day in the studio was Oct. 29, 2020, which means he worked until only 10 days before his death.

It’s unclear how the show will move forward without Alex. “The show is not announcing plans for a new host at this time,” they said in a statement.

Fans will have a chance to see Alex in the new Ryan Reynolds’ movie Free Guy as well.  Before Alex Trebek passed away he filmed a cameo in Ryan Reynolds’ film Free Guy.
