A 40-year-old named Doug Henning from Eliot, Maine grew up in an adopted family. Thanks to some research on Ancestry.com, he managed to connect with his biological dad.
His biological Dad, Raul, flew from Colombia to Boston to meet Doug for the first time over Thanksgiving and was surprised when Doug was dressed like Buddy the Elf!
Unfortunately, Raul has never seen the movie so he appears to be a little confused while meeting his son for the first time in the video shared online. Doug says, quote, “He probably thought I was a lunatic. [But] it was a really good way to break the ice.”
