Whoopi Goldberg is teaming up with Tyler Perry for ‘Sister Act 3.’
More than two decades after Goldberg starred as Deloris Van Cartier in the original film as well as the 1993 sequel, Disney+ announced that fans will finally get Act 3 on the streaming platform.
During an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Goldberg teased that they were working diligently to “get the gang together and come back.”
“It’s a really fun movie. It’s fun and it feels good, nobodies mad. It’s just like, listen, bad singing, great singing, okay singing and then nuns, what’s better than that?”
