Michael Strahan has closed the iconic gap between his two front teeth.

The NFL Hall of Famer and “Good Morning America” host tweeted on Tuesday, “I did it. #GoodbyeGap.”

He shared a video of himself undergoing a dental procedure at Smile Design Manhattan to close the space between his teeth. According to TMZ, it is a temporary solution.

Strahan knew he’d get flack for his decision, saying he expected his followers, friends, business partners, and family to disapprove.

People on Twitter sure did. One person wrote, “This man just lost all his super powers.” Another said, “This is definitely one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Strahan’s gap is iconic. It’s like Robert De Niro’s mole or Tom Selleck’s mustache. You don’t just get rid of that nonchalantly.”

But Strahan said, “I gotta do what I wanna do for myself.”
