Fans of Wheel of Fortune are calling for a rule change after a contestant solved a puzzle but actually lost on a minor technicality.
The contestant, David, went to solve the puzzle by saying, “Sole,” “Flounder,” “Cod” and “Catfish,” but he wasn’t supposed to say the word “and” because it didn’t appear on the board. Hos Pat Sajak said that wasn’t correct and moved on to the next contestant.
He explained later, “David did that thing that’s so easy to do. He added an ‘and.'”
