Meghan Trainor welcomed her first child, a boy, two months ago and the new mom shared a TikTok video on Instagram documenting Riley’s early days in the hospital, revealing in the caption that he had a “rocky start.”
“We had a rocky start.. but Riley is perfect, happy and healthy 💙 so lucky to be your mama sweet boy.”
The video is set to the song, “If You Love Her,” by Forest Blakk featuring Trainor and shows baby Riley hooked up to various tubes and wires while Trainor watches via FaceTime. In the next clip, Meghan is seen on FaceTime again as her husband, Daryl Sabara, holds their son in a hospital room.
The video then shows Riley being placed on his mom’s chest followed by a series of clips of happy moments with his parents. Watch Riley grow (and show off an adorable smile) in the video below.
