The Weeknd, DaBaby, Gabby Barrett and Megan Thee Stallion Lead 200 Billboard Music Awards Nominations

The Billboard Music Awards announced the 2021 nominees on Thursday, April 29th. The Weeknd leads with 16 nominations, followed by rapper DaBaby with 11 nominations and the late Pop Smoke with 10 nods.

Gabby Barrett and Megan Thee Stallion are the two women nominees with the most nominations. Barrett earned nine and Megan Thee Stallion earned seven.

The Weeknd is up for top artist, top male artist, top Hot 100 artist, top streaming songs artist and top song sales artist. His 2020 album After Hours is also nominated for top Billboard 200 album and top R&B album, while his single “Blinding Lights” is a finalist in five categories. Grammy’s who?
