Chris Harrison Not Returning to ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ to Be Replaced by Celebrity Guest Hosts

Chris Harrison will not return as host for the next season of Bachelor in Paradise.

In February, Chris took a temporary break from the Bachelor franchise after the backlash erupted over him defending a contestant who had attended an Old South plantation-themed party.

Unlike the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette,” which premieres next week and will be hosted by Bachelor Nation alums, “Bachelor in Paradise” will have a cast of celebrity guest hosts.

Comedian David Spade is the first host announced.

The new season will premiere on Aug. 16.
