Bruce Springsteen’s Daughter Will Compete at the Tokyo Olympics

Jessica Springsteen, the daughter of rock icon Bruce Springsteen and singer-songwriter Patti Scialfa, has been selected as one of four riders on the U.S. jumping team that will compete at the Tokyo Olympics.

U.S. Equestrian announced Monday that the 29-year-old rider would be making her Olympic debut. Springsteen joins Kent Farrington, Laura Kraut, and McLain Ward for the equestrian competition set to begin on Aug. 3rd.

Jessica shared a message on Instagram saying, “Been dreaming of this since I can remember! Endless gratitude for my team, friends and family for helping me make this a reality. We are Tokyo bound!! Honored to be a part of this team with @laurakraut @teamkpf and @mclainward.official. There’s no horse in the world I’d rather be on this journey with, thank you Don! You’re my horse of a lifetime🤗Let’s go USA!🇺🇸🎉”
