Celebrity bathing routines have been in the news recently following a few recent eyebrow raising interviews.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed on Dax Shephard’s Armchair Expert podcast that they do not wash their two children daily. “If you can see the dirt on them, clean them, Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepherd agreed. While appearing on The View, Kristen said, “I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jake Gyllenhaal shared that he believed that the standard of showering every day is debatable.
“More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times,” he said “I do believe because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that. But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”
Well not every celeb is down for not bathing.
A Twitter fan account dedicated to Chris Evans posted an older clip of the actor saying he showers on a daily basis.
I am very proud he cleared the bar which is indeed very low for celebrities today.

and Dwayne Johnson chimed in on Twitter saying he’s in the shower squad. “Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb. Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’ . . . Shower (warm) after my workout before work . . . Shower (hot) after I get home from work.”
