Too Close For Comfort?

Rebecca in Yorktown recently went out to a new restaurant with her husband. They were about to be seated in one of those sections with tables really close to each other. Her husband wasn’t okay with it and wanted to wait for an open table, but Rebecca was hangry so she asserted that they take the available table. Her husband never really recovered and it got Rebecca wondering if she was in the wrong.

We think Elena in Chesapeake summed it up pretty good by saying the guy might be dealing with some unresolved anxiety inside, and his wife might not even be aware due to the nature of males not sharing things that compromise their masculinity. He tried blaming it on covid after the fact, but his wife wasn’t buying it because he’s never been super “covid-conscious” before.
