Actor Gerald Butler isn’t a fan of Deadpool apparently. In an interview Butler gave to UNILAD earlier this month, he responded to comparisons of his 2009 movie Gamer to Reynolds’ recent movie, Free Guy saying, “I actually don’t know what Free Guy is.’
After he was told that it is Reynolds’ latest action film he replied, ‘Oh sh*t is it… I don’t watch Ryan Reynolds movies.”
Well, those comments went viral with headlines like “Gerard Butler Says He Doesn’t Watch Ryan Reynolds Movies”
Reynolds responded in the best possible way in an Instagram post saying, “Can you believe Gerard Butler doesn’t know what Free Guy is? Also, can you believe that the challenges to democracy have never been greater and that Blake and I will match your contributions to the @aclu_nationwide and @naacp_ldf?
