This Hidden iPhone ‘Messaging App’ Lets You Read Texts as They’re Typed

We’ve all been there…you send a text, wait for a reply and then the dots come…you anxiously await what your bff or worse, crush is typing.

Well now you can see what is being typed in real time! But before you get too excited, your friends have to be in on the hack.  No sneakiness here.

@ambre_skyeSecret Messaging Hack! I bet you didn’t know this one! 🤫 #iphone #iphone11pro #iphonetricks #MyTeacherWins #NeverStopExploring #fypシ #iphonetips

Here’s how it works:

  • Open your iPhone’s Notes app.

  • Tap the square icon in the bottom right of your display to start a new note.

  • Hit the three dots in the top right of your display to open your note settings, then tap “share note”.

  • Send a link to join the document to your friends over your preferred messaging service.

  • Go back into your note settings and tap “manage shared note”.

  • Turn on “highlight changes” and “hide alerts”. This will ensure that any text added by each participant is highlighted in a different color so you can tell who’s typing what.

There you go, now when you plug a message into the note, your typing is now shown to participants in real-time.
