Adele appears on The Graham Norton Show Friday, February 11th where she talks about postponing her Las Vegas residency, engagement rumors and baby plans.
According to the Daily Mail, the “Easy on Me” singer says she “tried my hardest” to pull the show together in time, but fell short. However, she hinted that the new dates will be announced soon.
“It would have been a really half-arsed show and I can’t do that,” she says. “People will see straight through me up on the stage… I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now.”
“We are now working our arses off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready,” she continued. “It is absolutely 100% happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!”
Adele, who is dating Rich Paul, recently sparked engagement rumors after a wearing a massive diamond on her left finger to the Brit Awards.
When asked whether they pair are engaged, she reportedly responds “If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?”
