Kanye West Barred From Performing at Grammys Due to ‘Concerning Online Behavior’

Kanye West will not perform at this year’s Grammy Awards due to ‘concerning online behavior.’

Ye’s rep sent Variety a link to a story shared by the Blast saying “this is confirmed.”

The Blast reported that West’s team received a phone call informing him he had been “unfortunately” removed from the lineup of performers for the show due to his “concerning online behavior.”

According to the Blast, Kanye’s feud with The Daily Show host was a factor in the decision-making process but on Sunday, Noah tweeted, “I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye.”

Noah is set to host the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
