Selena Gomez Says Staying Off the Internet for 4 Years Improved Her Mental Health

Selena Gomez appeared on Good Morning America on April 4th to talk about her new multi-media company that focuses on mental health.

The “Only Murders in the Building” star revealed how struggling with her own mental health influenced her to launch “Wondermind” free of charge to destigmatize mental health issues.

In addition to talking about the new platform for mental fitness, Selena talked about the changes she has made in her own life.

“I haven’t been on the Internet in 4-and-a-half years,” she said. “It has changed my life completely. I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people. I understand how powerful the Internet is, and in so many ways it’s done the best things for the world. But for me, I get to my news that is actually important I get through people in my life.”
