Diddy hosted the event full of notable moments, including Doja Cat taking home the award for Top R&B Artist, Top Female R&B Artist, and Top R&B Album.

Olivia Rodrigo won Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Hot 100 Artist and Drake won Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist as well as Top Rap Album.
Ye (formerly Kanye West) swept the gospel and Christian categories, taking top artist, top album and top song in both genres.
BTS won three awards, more than any other group or duo this year, including top duo/group.
and Janet Jackson presented Mary J. Blige with the Icon Award.
