National French Fry Day is coming up this Wednesday, July 13th.  The delicious holiday is a great excuse to enjoy your favorite french fry…whether it’s crinkle-cut, curly, shoestring, waffle, or traditional.

In our opinion though, free fries taste the best!

To celebrate National French Fry Day, McDonald’s will give away free orders of large fries — with no purchase necessary. The only catch, the free fries can only be ordered through the McDonald’s app, and customers must be members of the chain’s loyalty program.

Wendy’s is taking it one step further and celebrating “Fry Week” with the following daily deals.

• Monday, 7/11: Free medium fry with any Frosty mobile order purchase

• Tuesday, 7/12: Free medium fry with any Salad mobile order purchase

• Wednesday, 7/13: Free any size fry with any mobile order purchase

• Thursday, 7/14: Free small breakfast seasoned potatoes (aka Breakfast Fry Day) with any mobile order purchase

• Friday, 7/15: Free medium fry with any size fry mobile order purchase
