Ryan Reynolds Jokes About Why Lion King, Bambi, and More Should Be Rated R as Deadpool Joins Disney+

Deadpool and Logan are heading to Disney+.

The raunchy superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine film will be the first R-rated movie on the streaming platform.

In a post shared on Instagram, Reynolds joked that other Disney movies should receive the same rating for the trauma they inflicted on us.

“We’re supposed to announce Logan and Deadpool will soon be the first R-rated movies on Disney+,” he wrote. “But we all know some Disney movies should already be rated R for irreversible trauma.”

The actor shared a series of slides saying that Snow White “should NOT be approved for ALL AUDIENCES be they minors, miners, or bashful.”

“Old Yeller” should not be approved for dog lovers due to its “total ugly-cry inducing straight-up murder of Old Yeller. Also, bear abuse.”

Finally, The Lion King should be rated R for “fratricide, mauling, very possibly half-sibling lovin’, or at least kissin’ cousins” and Bambi should get an R, Reynolds wrote, “Because therapy’s not cheap” and the “cold-blooded killing of an innocent deer mom, that will cause lifelong trauma.”

DeadpoolDeadpool 2 and Logan are now streaming on Disney+.
