“Rolling Stone UK” dubbed Harry Styles the “New King of Pop” and Michael Jackson fans are not happy.

The publication features Styles on the cover this month saying, “How the New King of Pop set the music world aflame.”

Michael Jackson fans took to Twitter to protest the new moniker saying, “there is only one king of Pop.”

Jackson’s nephew Taj Jackson also weighed in saying, “There is no new King of Pop.  You don’t own the title Rolling Stone, and you didn’t earn it, my uncle did. Decades of dedication and sacrifice.  The title has been retired.  No disrespect to Harry Styles, he’s mega talented.  Give him his own unique title.”

Incidentally, Styles was only given the “King of Pop” title on the U.K. cover of the music magazine but not on the U.S. cover.
