Two Long-Time ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pros Exit Ahead of Season 31

Dancing With the Stars is losing two of its pros next season, Sharna Burgess and Lindsay Arnold.

The dancers announced their departure from the popular reality show competition ahead of Season 31.

Sharna, who gave birth on June 28th, broke the news Wednesday on Instagram, saying, she’s not ready to leave her newborn son Zane. But she shared with fans that she will still “be there in some capacity.”

Sharna, who shares baby Zane with boyfriend Brian Austin Green, promised that she “will be there in some capacity,” adding, “We are going to figure that out in whatever capacity that means. You will see me it will just be in a different way.”

Hours later, Lindsay also hit social media to announce that she’s taking a break from the show to focus on her family. She said, “As many of you know my family and I live in UT and in order to do DWTS I have to move myself and my daughter Sage out to LA and leave behind my husband Sam who works full time here in Utah. Logistically there is SO much involved with making this happen and there is a lot of sacrifice that has to be made that unfortunately just did not feel right for us this time around.”

“It’s so important to me that you understand none of this has anything to do with my love for the show as that will NEVER change and it also doesn’t mean that this is the end for me and DWTS,” she added.

The full cast for Dancing With the Stars will be revealed early next month on Good Morning America.
