Williamsburg Chef to Appear on ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Season Premiere

Hell’s Kitchen kicks off season 21 this week with a Williamsburg chef set to appear.

Ileana Gabrielle D’Silva, a sous chef at Casa Pearl in Williamsburg, will compete on the reality show hosted by Gordon Ramsay.  This season’s theme is “Battle of the Ages” which will pit 40-somethings against 20-somethings.

D’Silva is a 23-year–old Gloucester native who loves a challenge, an opportunity to learn, and an excuse to play with her food, according to Casa Pearl’s website.

The restaurant shared its support for D’Silva on social media writing, “Ileana brings drive, dedication, passion and commitment to everything she touches – both in and out of the kitchen. With true culinary skill and finesse, Ileana fillets the culinary game. The Casa Pearl family is truly honored to work beside her every day. We couldn’t be more excited for her for this opportunity.”
