Jessica Simpson’s Memoir to be Adapted Into TV Show Starring Katelyn Tarver and John Stamos

Jessica Simpson’s best-selling memoir, “Open Book,” is being adapted into a new television show.

Amazon Freevee has ordered the half-hour scripted pilot starring Katelyn Tarver (“Ballers”) and John Stamos (“Full House”)

According to Variety, Tarver will play Sadie Sparrow, a young singer based on Simpson, while John Stamos will appear as Butch, an older musician who’s tasked with writing songs with Sadie.

Simpson will serve as an Executive Producer.
