Lewis Capaldi Announces Second Album, ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent:’

Lewis Capaldi announced Tuesday (Oct. 18th) that his new album. Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, will be released on May, 19th, 2023.

The Scottish singer told BBC Scotland’s The Nine he feels “terrified” about it after the success of his first album.

He said he shared the album with celebrity friends Ed Sheeran and Elton John but it was his parents who had the strongest opinions. “Dad, you sell fish!” he said. “Don’t tell me what stanza to change”.

He’ll also hit the road next spring for a North American tour that will kick off at the Grande Ole Opry House in Nashville on March 30th, 2023 and wrap on May 11th, 2023 in Houston.

Tickets go on sale Friday (October 21st).
