Longtime actor and star of Days of Our Lives John Aniston has died at the age of 89.
His daughter, Jennifer Aniston, shared the news today on Instagram that he passed away on Friday. Alongside a series of old photos of her with her father she wrote, “Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I’ll love you till the end of time.”
The Greek-born actor began his television career in the ’60s appearing in multiple shows but was best known for playing Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives for more than 30 years.
