Adele Kicks Off Las Vegas Residency; Adds Two New Dates

Adele is adding two New Year’s Eve weekend shows to her Weekends With Adele residency on Friday, December 30th, and Saturday, December 31st.

The global superstar’s highly anticipated Weekends With Adele residency kicked off Friday (November 18th) night at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.

According to TMZ, the singer broke down in tears several times during the night, telling the crowd, “I’m so scared and nervous, but I am so happy. I don’t know what I was thinking putting piano ballads at the top of the set … hopefully over time my nerves will disappear. I would also really like to thank Caesar’s because there have been a lot of rumors and they never once asked any questions, they’ve been amazing.”

Adele’s residency was originally set to begin in January but was postponed for nearly a year.
