Ed Sheeran’s Second Daughter’s Name Revealed

Ed Sheeran is on the cover of Rolling Stone this month where the singer opens up about becoming a dad, his party days ending, and the tragedy that led him to new darker music.

For the cover story, Sheeran is interviewed at his home with his wife Cherry and two daughters, 2-year-old Lyra and 8-month-old Jupitar, nearby.  Jupitar’s name was previously unknown.

Speaking of life at home with his two girls, the 32-year-old shared that it’s “so lovely.”

“Me and Cherry were talking earlier about how it’s so lovely,” he said. “We had an entire day. We did nothing but this. It’s so nice and wholesome having family on tour. On the last tour, I’d party till 7 a.m., sleep till 4 p.m., get up and do the gig. But I was like, 26. It’s very different.”

In the article, Ed also reveals that it was his wife Cherry who convinced his to go to therapy following the unexpected death of his best friend.

“No one really talks about their feelings where I come from,” he says. “People think it’s weird getting a therapist in England.… I think it’s very helpful to be able to speak with someone and just vent and not feel guilty about venting. Obviously, like, I’ve lived a very privileged life. So my friends would always look at me like, ‘Oh, it’s not that bad.’ ”

Fans will get to see a peak into more of Ed’s personal life in his new four-part docu-series coming to Disney + this May.
